We welcome essays, interviews, and book/film reviews on topics related to health and society. Generally, these submissions should range between 1200-1600 words. Most pieces will be edited for clarity and length.
All contributions should be original and unpublished unless agreed upon by editor and author.
For readers’ accessibility, we ask contributors to include alt text for any photographs (a 1-2 sentence description of the image) and to give descriptive names for hyperlinks, rather than using phrasing such as “click here.”
We invite contributors to record an audio version of the essay or review, which will accompany the written text.
The use of person-first or identity-first language is at the contributor’s discretion.
All contributors will be compensated.
